I'm (bleeping) done with (bleeping) Rite Aid. Today we were in Rite Aid. Sami and me were off buying Monsters. We noticed Amber wasn't with us. We went to look for her. We found her in the make up aisle. We were about to tell her we were ready to leave. Some cashier lady came up to Amber. She said, "I saw what you were about to do." Amber said "What?" The lady said "I saw you try to steal that hair dye." "What hair dye?" "Look, I saw you put it under your shirt." (she was wearing a skin tight shirt, btw...)"You want me to leave?" "Yeah." "Fine, I'm leaving." She went and put her Monster back. The cashier lady looked at me and Sami. Me and Sami shrugged. The lady gave us a disapproving look. Amber stormed out the door. Me and Sami stood there for a second, completely gobsmacked, then went to pay for my Monster and eyeliner. We left and agreed never to go into Rite Aid again because they always seem like they don't want us there anyway. Just a few minutes ago the phone rang. Ambers grandma said that the cashier lady knew Ambers Uncle Randy. Randy called Amber and her Grandma and said that they have to go over to his place right away. The cashier was there. We are no longer welcome in Rite Aid and our pictures are up on the Wall of Shame. O.o I personally think it's ridiculous that they banned me and Sami too. If they've been watching us, they know that we don't take things and we pay for the things we do remove from the premises. The reason they overreacted so much is because we're teenagers. We're not allowed in the store anymore because of a stereotype. I wonder if the Wall of Shame is in public? Hope not. Most of my teachers shop there, and I'll never see half of them to explain what happened. My mom gave me this big lecture about how if I "hang" with the wrong "crowd," I'll get in trouble too. But Amber's not "the wrong crowd," she's been my best friend since 4th grade and this is the first time I've known her to do anything even somewhat against the rules (even if she didn't do anything...). So basically we've been booted out the store for being customers, and they've lost whatever money they would have been getting from us. Their loss, I've got better things to spend money on, like when Alison Krauss goes on tour in 2010! On the other hand, I do understand why they reacted that way to whatever Amber DID do, because they lose a lot of money to people who DO steal from them. I see both sides of the story (except why me and Sami are in trouble too…. Please, I’m desperate for someone’s opinion on this! Please someone agree or disagree, I’m ticked off and humiliated and everything else!
